Vous l&rsquo;appr\u00e9ciez ? Et si je vous disais que, finalement, tout ce que vous avez appris durant vos ann\u00e9es de coll\u00e8ge et de lyc\u00e9e <strong>n&rsquo;est pas la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 ?<\/strong> Si, finalement, tout ce que nous avons appris n&rsquo;\u00e9tait qu&rsquo;une <strong>approximation de notre monde ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Peut-\u00eatre que les r\u00e9alisateurs de Matrix avaient raison :<\/span> nous sommes dans la matrice&#8230; <strong>La matrice quantique&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bien s\u00fbr, ce n&rsquo;est pas la conclusion de cette tr\u00e8s bonne BD dont je vais vous parler aujourd&rsquo;hui, mais cela vous donne une bonne id\u00e9e de <strong>mon ressenti \u00e0 la lecture de cet ouvrage de vulgarisation scientifique.<\/strong> Une nouvelle <span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #800080;\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.lascienceenpassant.com\/index.php\/2019\/09\/20\/dans-la-combi-de-thomas-pesquet-bd-marion-montaigne-astronomie-astronaute-livre-lecture\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">BD de vulgarisation scientifique<\/a><\/strong><\/span> passionnante ! Nous vivons dans une grotte, dont nous avons plus ou moins fait le tour, et nous venons tout juste <strong>de mettre le nez dehors&#8230;.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\">\u00c0 la d\u00e9couverte d&rsquo;un nouveau monde avec <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Quantix<\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/h2>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\">Un ouvrage de vulgarisation scientifique qui met en app\u00e9tit<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La physique classique, c&rsquo;est bien pour <strong>\u00e9tudier ce qu&rsquo;il y a sur la Terre.<\/strong> <strong>Le fini.<\/strong> Les choses de tailles, dirons-nous, moyennes. Par contre, elle semble bien limit\u00e9e lorsqu&rsquo;il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;\u00e9tudier <strong>l&rsquo;infiniment grand<\/strong> (<em>l&rsquo;espace et l&rsquo;univers en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral<\/em>) et <strong>l&rsquo;infiniment petit<\/strong> (<em>\u00e9lectrons, photons et autres particules<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Heureusement, il y a <strong>la physique quantique.<\/strong> Je dis, heureusement pour les sp\u00e9cialistes, par contre, pour les gens comme moi, la physique quantique, cela reste quelque chose <strong>de tr\u00e8s n\u00e9buleux<\/strong> (<em>c&rsquo;est le cas de le dire, je vous l&rsquo;assure !<\/em>). Pourtant, au moment o\u00f9 j&rsquo;allais le choisir, mon regard s&rsquo;est port\u00e9 sur <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Quantix de Laurent Schafer<\/span>.<\/strong> Une <span style=\"color: #800080;\"><a style=\"color: #800080;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dunod.com\/mecanique-quantique-relativite-quantix-une-bd-scientifique-accessible-tous\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>bande dessin\u00e9e<\/strong><\/a><\/span> qui est cens\u00e9e <strong>lever le voile sur ce myst\u00e9rieux monde quantique.<\/strong> Et, pour mon plus grand plaisir, <strong>le pari est tenu !<\/strong> Au fil des pages, je d\u00e9couvre <strong>de nouvelles connaissances,<\/strong> <strong>j&rsquo;affine certains savoirs<\/strong> et j&rsquo;entrevois <strong>un immense champs des possibles&#8230;<\/strong> Tout cela, en prenant plaisir \u00e0 d\u00e9couvrir les p\u00e9r\u00e9grinations quotidiennes des personnages <strong>plut\u00f4t sympathiques.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\">Les myst\u00e8res du monde quantique<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Vous l&rsquo;aurez compris, je ne suis en rien une sp\u00e9cialiste de la physique quantique. Bien au contraire, c&rsquo;est un domaine que je d\u00e9couvre actuellement. Et quel domaine&#8230; Je me demande si les grands savants, tels que Darwin, Galil\u00e9e ou Newton lorsqu&rsquo;ils \u00e9taient <strong>\u00e0 l&rsquo;aube d&rsquo;un nouveau paradigme,<\/strong> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">ont aussi eu ce sentiment :<\/span> <strong>une sorte de vertige devant tout ce qu&rsquo;il est encore possible de d\u00e9couvrir&#8230;<\/strong> Pour ma part, j&rsquo;ai un peu ce vertige maintenant que j&rsquo;en sais un peu plus sur la physique quantique.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Laurent Schafer ne nous jette pas brutalement dans le grand bain. <strong>Il commence doucement,<\/strong> en nous pr\u00e9sentant d&rsquo;abord <strong>les personnages que nous allons suivre au fil des pages.<\/strong> Un groupe d&rsquo;ami.e.s adultes, plut\u00f4t bon.ne.s vivant.e.s, <strong>qui se pose beaucoup de questions&#8230;<\/strong> terre-\u00e0-terres et qui a peu de curiosit\u00e9 sur ce qu&rsquo;il se passe au-del\u00e0 du barbecue. C&rsquo;est dans cette partie que <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">j&rsquo;ai eu l&rsquo;une de mes plus grosses r\u00e9v\u00e9lations :<\/span> <strong>la gravit\u00e9 EST l&rsquo;espace.<\/strong> Elle est cr\u00e9\u00e9e par les objets massifs qui s&rsquo;enfoncent dans une sorte de matelas mou&#8230; Je suis rest\u00e9e bloqu\u00e9e sur cette constatation et je me suis demand\u00e9e <strong>pourquoi nous n&rsquo;apprenons pas directement ce fait dans les \u00e9tudes.<\/strong> Pourquoi apprenons-nous <strong>une approximation ?<\/strong> Parce que c&rsquo;est plus simple \u00e0 comprendre ? Parce que ces d\u00e9couvertes sont trop r\u00e9centes ? Je n&rsquo;ai pas la r\u00e9ponse&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\">&#8230;\u00c0 l&rsquo;infiniment petit<\/span><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Apr\u00e8s l&rsquo;infiniment grand, <strong>escale rapide \u00e0 notre \u00e9chelle,<\/strong> avant de nous plonger dans <strong>le monde de l&rsquo;infiniment petit.<\/strong> Un monde o\u00f9 semble r\u00e9gner <strong>le chaos, l&rsquo;incoh\u00e9rence et l&rsquo;absurdit\u00e9<\/strong> et qui va nous amener \u00e0 <strong>la limite de nos connaissances, voire m\u00eame de notre compr\u00e9hension.<\/strong> Une autre chose que j&rsquo;ai trouv\u00e9 formidable avec cette approche de la physique quantique, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">c&rsquo;est que <strong>Laurent Schafer montre que les sciences \u00ab\u00a0dures\u00a0\u00bb et sociales se m\u00ealent :<\/strong><\/span> le monde quantique am\u00e8ne <strong>\u00e0 se questionner sur la conscience et la notion d&rsquo;existence.<\/strong> \u00ab\u00a0J&rsquo;observe, donc tu es\u00a0\u00bb ? Si l\u00e0, nous ne sommes pas totalement <strong>dans la philosophie&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cependant, <strong>ces questions n&rsquo;alourdissent pas la lecture,<\/strong> qui est ponctu\u00e9e <strong>de beaucoup d&rsquo;humour, de r\u00e9f\u00e9rences et d&rsquo;anecdotes.<\/strong> Tout est fait pour <strong>accompagner le lecteur et l&rsquo;ancrer dans le concret.<\/strong> Les dessins <strong>tr\u00e8s color\u00e9s<\/strong> et les <strong>personnages sympathiques<\/strong> <strong>rassurent aussi beaucoup et donnent un c\u00f4t\u00e9 ludique \u00e0 la lecture.<\/strong> Une mention sp\u00e9ciale \u00e0 la <strong>rencontre fortuite de Newton et d&rsquo;Einstein<\/strong> (<em>gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la courbure de l&rsquo;espace-temps ?<\/em>). Cependant, qu&rsquo;en est-il de l&rsquo;objectif premier d&rsquo;un livre passeur de connaissances, \u00e0 savoir <strong>la qualit\u00e9 de la vulgarisation scientifique ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">L&rsquo;avantage du format \u00ab\u00a0BD\u00a0\u00bb pour la diffusion de connaissances, c&rsquo;est que <strong>les textes, parfois techniques, s&rsquo;accompagnent tr\u00e8s rapidement d&rsquo;illustrations.<\/strong> Ici, ces derni\u00e8res sont <strong>pertinentes et bien amen\u00e9es.<\/strong> Les explications et dessins sur la courbure spatio-temporelle et la gravit\u00e9, par exemple, m&rsquo;ont vraiment bluff\u00e9e. C&rsquo;est par exemple majoritairement l&rsquo;homme qui cite des connaissances scientifiques (<em>bon, certes, souvent de mani\u00e8re inappropri\u00e9e<\/em>), alors que la femme, elle, est souvent en train de faire des t\u00e2ches m\u00e9nag\u00e8res. Par contre, j&rsquo;ai \u00e9t\u00e9 agr\u00e9ablement surprise de d\u00e9couvrir que <strong>c&rsquo;est la jeune fille qui est fan de physique !<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Quantix<\/span>, un livre qui questionne<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">J&rsquo;aurai envie de dire que cet ouvrage de vulgarisation scientifique <strong>remplit plusieurs des objectifs principaux<\/strong> (<em>\u00e0 mon sens<\/em>) <strong>de la communication scientifique :<\/strong><\/span> <strong>susciter la curiosit\u00e9, donner envie d&rsquo;en savoir plus, faire comprendre certaines notions,<\/strong> parfois extr\u00eamement complexes. L&rsquo;auteur n&rsquo;h\u00e9site pas \u00e0 employer <strong>le vocabulaire technique, en prenant soin de l&rsquo;expliquer et de l&rsquo;illustrer.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">De plus, la lecture de <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Quantix<\/span> fait na\u00eetre <strong>de nombreuses questions aupr\u00e8s du lecteur.<\/strong> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Notamment sur la fa\u00e7on <strong>d&rsquo;enseigner les sciences \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9cole ;<\/strong><\/span> pourquoi ne <strong>pas partir du quotidien et inscrire les connaissances dans du concret ?<\/strong> Pourquoi ne <strong>pas partir du contexte et de l&rsquo;histoire\u00a0 des d\u00e9couvertes<\/strong> (<em>Newton, Einstein, Schr\u00f6dinger<\/em>) ? Les notions abord\u00e9es <strong>\u00ab\u00a0d\u00e9rangent\u00a0\u00bb et d\u00e9sordonnent totalement notre monde<\/strong> r\u00e9git par les r\u00e8gles de la physique classique.
